If you are not already using some sort of business intelligence tools for your business then you are not being very smart with you data. And no, business intelligence reporting is not just for the large corporations and the geek in the back office who advises at board level which beans should be counted and discounted

Every heard the saying ‘fail to plan, then plan to fail’, yes its very annoying and even more so given the fact that it is actually true.  Today, the business that does not use its data (intelligence) for planning, forecasting and driving their business forward, will not be around for tomorrow.  A grand, sweeping, general statement I know but that does not mean it is wrong.
